Yum

I made a new recipe last week. It was yummy, easy and inexpensive. I think we will be eating it regularly.
Here's the dish:
Cut up a kielbasa sausage (I think flank steak would be really good too) brown it in a little olive oil. While the meat is cooking cut up half of a yellow onion and a few carrots. Remove the sausage from the pan and cook the onion & carrots till soft then add some garlic & black pepper and cook for another minute or so. Add a can or two of black beans and 2 cups of chicken stock add the sausage and let the flavors meld together. Serve with a dallop of plain yogurt (or sour cream) and chopped cilantro. Next time I'm serving the whole shebang over rice.

Thank you M.S. Everyday Food for another quick, good recipe.
